It's Okay to Disagree | Life of Dmitri Ruwan

As most of you may know by now EP02 of Life of Dmitri Ruwan highlighted a very real series of disagreements that we collectively experienced. Below is my take on everything that transpired.

I think its safe to say we all have our likes and dislikes, to me as a creative and an individual not having an opinion is perhaps the worst quality one can possess next to a lack of ambition. Because, it means you have no say in what transpires in your life be it as simple as where to dine or what colour drapes to pick for your living room; small choices impact the greater picture. That being said, it's also important to know when it isn't about you, and in such instances it's important to take a step back.

In this situation however the stress of quarantining paired with my unpaid leave definitely took a toll on me while the limited access to the outside definitely influenced Mika and Moe. The search for the perfect hotel for our weekend getaway started with the Hilton and moved onto the Cove Rotana while briefly lingering on Kay Villa's. As you can tell, all three have their own unique vibe and with Moerz being fine with all our options it was up to me and Mika to forego any personal preferences for the betterment of the trip as a whole. Suffice to say, I decided to trust Mika's instincts on this particular occasion and I was glad I did. Our private villa on the grounds of the Cove Rotana was pristine and secluded, away from crowds with our own private pool and multiple bedrooms. However, the trip didn't really have the impact I thought it would, in fact I ended up feeling significantly more tired. But, for this I'll let you all watch the episode.
