I wouldn’t typically describe myself as beach/pool person; rather if life were a music video, I’d be one of the stylish extra’s lounging by the pool in a kaftan that’s not meant for contact with water. However, haute-visualisations aside, there’s something unbeatably fun about White Beach, that’s got me hooked.

On Season 3 of my Youtube series #LifeofDmitriRuwan you’ll be able to have a hands-on look at the space surrounding White Beach, Dubai but for now here’s a breakdown of what makes it a cut above the rest.
Upon arriving to White Beach, located at Atlantis, The Palm, Jumeirah we were greeted by the friendly security staff (an achievement in itself) from where we walked down a perfectly cobbled street that led to the main reception desk where guests and socialites waited to be seated. The well trained staff; an assortment of model-meets-Coachella hybrids were all smiles and ready to help, which is precisely why our wait at the reception desk took less than two minutes before we were escorted to our cabana.
Each cabana comes with an attendant and a waiter who frequent the table just enough to ensure all your needs are met, but not too much, to avoid that pesky hovering behaviour we all despise. A menu boasting an array of Mediterranean dishes and alcoholic beverages covers everything one could need. Single day beds also have similar options minus the attendant.
As light music begins to play, I walk around the large open space that boasts the namesake restaurant, White; which serves mouthwatering specialties like lemon-buttered lobster as well as a chic fashion boutique catering to your inner bohemian goddess. Think breezy beach frocks and bikinis with extravagant sun hats; Jacquemus would approve!
After this light stroll and upon returning to the cabana I see a live dancer decked in a white fringe skirt, bikini and a feather headdress moving in sway to a pulsating beach-track. The mood? Excellent.
As the sun finally began to set and myself, Moerz and Mika Ashraf, take sips of our Aperol Spritz’s I’d decided that perhaps I would frequent this particular venue again. My initial skepticism with the whole pool/beach lounge fad had been successfully deconstructed, at least where White beach, is concerned. The crowd at White Beach isn’t your typical messy and obnoxious weekenders, rather an elegant combination of entrepreneurs, jet setters, socialites and artists. A fitting mix to complement this gem of a beach club.
Pricing:-
The cabana’s or tables are better served for group purposes can cost up to AED 2000 and are situated overlooking the infinity pool and beach, while the single day beds that cost up to AED 200/300 are located closer to the main bar with a similarly exuberant view.
