Blue Social - The New Business Card

So, in Season 4 Episode 17 of #LifeofDmitriRuwan my Dubai-based Youtube series there's a lot going on. From our little visit to The Farm at Al Barari, to the importance of working relationships. But, what is worthy of note is the conversation me and my manager had about Blue Social.

Shreya ( aka the manager) was going on about a blue card that she'd ordered weeks into our working relationship. To be honest, it all sounded like it was a lot of hassle for a card, that is until it finally arrived and I saw its ingenious convenience first hand. Blue Social; is the new business card. It successfully integrates technology with functionality in a sleek design that no only eliminates the need for paper and thereby tackles environmental issues such as deforestation, but given the onset of the global pandemic that is COVID 19, it deftly tackles the issue of human-touch or transmission via various surfaces. Blue Social is a small card similar to your ATM card or black card that costs about $ 34.99 ( excluding shipping for those outside of the U.S.A) and works via a tap or bar code system.

1) Once you purchase the card and download the Blue Social App on your phone, it allows you to connect a plethora of your social networks (refer to Blue Social App for a complete list) i.e Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

2) Once you've connected all your platforms, you follow the guide on your card to seamlessly sync your phone wit your app and VOILA! Now, whenever you encounter someone at a networking event or social gathering all you have to do to transmit your credentials to them is tap your Blue Social Card to their phones. This opens up a safari link on the reepients phone to all your platforms. Genius? I think so.

The card works from iPhone 10 onward, however as an alternative measure for those with different models, your unique barcode via the app allows potential clients to access the relevant credentials when scanned.

In closing, not only is Blue Social a brilliantly cost-effective option for new and existing entrepreneurs alike, but it allows you to put your best foot forward and connect with a variety of consumers both traditional and new with a seamless design that is guaranteed to make a lasting impression, plus who needs a stack of paper crowding up that wallet?
