Now, before you all go and think I've switched sides from being an extrovert to a modern day Casanova, let me set the record straight - I have not. But, towards the latter part of 2019 I have learned to be the right amount of sociable while enjoying the calm and quiet of my favourite diner's, bistros, lounges, cafe's and restaurants. So, what makes Train Beach Club so special? Find out below.
It's the hottest place to be seen right now, and here's why;
1) An infinity pool with an Insta-perfect skyline surrounded by swaying palm trees, sun beds a live DJ and a view of the private beach. (The pool and outdoor areas are also constantly serviced by the staff)
2) Indoor and outdoor dining at #TrainBeachClub areas mean you can enjoy the party vibes of the pool side or bask in the perfect lighting of the facilities inner sanctum as you bite into your fresh avocado toast. Wooden cabanas closer to the ocean also makes for the perfect way to enjoy the best of both worlds.
3) A glass panelled gym boasting all fitness amenities overlooks the poolside, meaning not only can you look out into the calming waves as you workout but onlookers get a first hand glimpse of Dubai's fitness elite (and their personal trainers) in their element.
As I mentioned in my last review of the beach club scene, the success of beach club's in particular really boils down to aesthetics. Deviating away from the overbearing club vibe of excessively loud music and weekenders looking to get sloshed from 10-1pm, an elevated crowd of fitness enthusiasts and social-media mavens flock to Train, that has seemingly mastered the art of exclusivity in a facility that caters to the health conscious consumer of today.
Having visited during the pre-party hours (5PM on a Tuesday) I was able to enjoy a calming glass of Rosé with a side of delectable avocado fries with Moerz, as featured on the upcoming episode 4 of my Youtube series #LifeofDmitriRuwan and my only con in a long list of pro's would have to be that ninety percent of the crowd look like super models, but is that really a con?
