In between the many (many) struggles of 2020 I had little to no time to discuss a new set of products I happened to integrate into my routine but there is no better time than the present so let's start!

Firstly, I have very sensitive skin combination skin, for those of you that are new to these terms it signifies someone with a combination of dry+oily skin in varying degrees meaning your skin could be mildly dry and excessively oily or vice versa. Understanding your skin is the first step towards perfecting its texture and overall radiance and it comes with time. Or in my instance, many visits to a trusted dermatologist. That being said there are few products as thoroughly wonderful as Charlotte Tilbury's. Having been an avid consumer for over three years now, her magic cream is just lightweight enough for 24-hour moisture and what I would like to call skin rehabilitation and as man that would like to have flawless skin without a layers of makeup, that goes a long way. The introduction of these 3 new products though, have significantly elevated my appreciation for this skincare guru. Below are three products that are new to my routine and just as perfect as my timeless favourites.

Though I would personally recommend the larger size it really does depend on how much your skin requires. This deeply nourishing elixir contains revitalising agents such as Gold Powered Vitamin C, Plant Adaptogen Extracts, Sqisandryl (An Antioxidant Berry) and Niacinamide ( Multi-action Vitamin B3) - just to name a few. Though this highly absorbent elixir contains a powerhouse of ingredients its lightweight consistency and layer-ability with other products such as spf, moisturiser and concealer make it a genuinely worthwhile investment. Plus, its liquid-gold consistency is the perfect answer for men, as shaving, facial hair and generally thicker skin can often be difficult to penetrate with over the counter products. I use mine after my morning shower (post Bioderma Micellar Water) and top off with a little bit of The Lightweight Moisturiser.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better than Charlotte's Magic Cream we've been graciously introduced to the New!Lightweight Moisturiser. As a loyal user of the original Magic Cream I'm surprised and elated by the development of this new formula. Where the predecessor was decadent in consistency and created a significantly dewy texture across the face this revamped version is air-light and glazes across the skin while brightening, plumping and smoothening the skin in a fine veil of ingredients such as Coconut Alkanes, Crambe Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Citystem. I typically alternate between solely using the Magic Serum or The Lightweight Moisturiser, but on days when my skin feels especially dry, drained and dull I'll use both for optimum effect.

Pro-tip; if you're using light day makeup the moisturiser acts as a better base, usage of both products may result in an overly-dewy look dependent on some skin types. Overall the moisturiser is perfect day, night and every hour in between.

Alpine Rose, Holistic 5 Crystal Complex and Plant Adaptogen Extracts combine in a glossy, hydrating lip oil that is perfect for those with dry or chapped lips. Personally, a little goes a long way with this product for men as over application can result in a gloss-like effect. But, as with most of Charlottes products the hydrating ingredients sink into the lips effortlessly resulting in longer effects.
