Firstly, for those of you that are new, my Youtube video offers a more detailed review of the products presented by Glu Beauty . But for all you beauty aficionados that prefer a written format +shopping list here's a list of all the products that I have tried and tested over a period of 2-3 weeks. The reason behind testing the products for 14-15 days was to ascertain their effect on sensitive/combination skin and the overall impact of the ingredients present in each product.
The List
Undoubtedly my favourite from the Glu Beauty Box, this unique and intensely moisturizing face serum swiftly seeps into the skin to hydrate, plum and moisturize. Formulated with a ll natural and organic ingredients this little dispenser is the perfect solution to dryness that occurs as a result of extreme weather conditions, dust free radicals, shaving (for us boys) and ageing. Apply a few drops if you’re staying in during the day or make it a part of your nighttime skin routine.
Formulated with glacier water, this undereye refining stick contains cooling glacier water and white xylitol (a chemical that occurs naturally in fruits and vegetables) that is said to minimize and decompress puffiness. While the applicator is easy to use, I would prefer a more traditional formula, as mentioned in the video the consistency was a little dry and tapping the formula under my eye is not something I’m comfortable implementing long term.
Essential for sensitive skin types the all-natural Ella Beauty Soothing Gel is a refreshing alternative to mass market moisturisers. Applying after harsh sun exposure the beach, the pool or your morning outdoor cardio session will soothe redness, irritation and inflammation and replenish the skins natural moisture.
This would be higher up on my list if it came in a spritzing bottle, nevertheless the Ella Beauty Icefield Radiance emulsion is another great essential for those prone to extreme weather conditions or excessive dryness caused by air-conditioning. Their all-natural organic formula containing glacier water instantly hydrates, soothes and replenishes the skins natural moisture while maintain its natural ph. level.
