Appetite - The Shop at A4 Space

There's nothing better than uncovering a new hideaway in the region, new to me and my readers that is. After all, the #SecretDiners portion of the website isn't about what's haute & trendy, it's about chic little hideaways or opulent dining spots that offer unbeatable levels of privacy - get with the program, there's no in between.

A few weeks ago having decided that we needed a new space for my boxing short montage video. We decided to venture into Al Serkal, the stomping ground of would-be hipsters and 'the artsy girls' if hipsters drove G-wagons and wore Yeezys, because yes folks welcome to Dubai, that's just how it is. Either way, being the meticulously detail oriented people that we are, the manager and I quickly researched what the best spot to set up camp would be as we had three looks and a video to do. Thankfully, the A4 Space was exactly as advertised. A well lit, cosy and airy space where entrepreneurs, creatives, businessmen and the general public can visit to get some work done. There is no minimum spend, however there's a little café by the name of Appetite - The Shop, which is the perfect accompaniment to the communal working area. At the shop, you can purchase croissants, protein pots, sandwiches and strong coffee ( almond milk is available) as you skim through a book or get that content calendar done.

My overall takeaway? A wonderfully quiet, well-spaced ( because you can never be too careful) community offering. Appetite's range of morsels and bites are also a great way to power through those assignments and contracts, without the hazy midday sluggishness that accompanies larger meals. A must-try for the working gals!
